The Dusk Man— Lia Harel

I watched the Dusk Man as he came
to paint his evening art.
He climbed up on the mountaintop
and dipped his brush to start.
Streaks of scarlet burn the blue sky,
fuchsia ribbons ignite.
Brilliant amber rays give life
to a dramatic site.
One final smudge of violet to
erase the day away.
Behind him waits the Twilight Man
to fleck his Milky Way.
