The Difference between Mothers and Fathers — Bracha Prero
|My mother never gave me candy;
|My father gave me candy;
|She said I would get cavities.
|He wasn’t worried about my teeth.
|My mother never cleaned my room;
|My father and I cleaned my room together;
|She said I had to do it all by myself.
|We put all the toys and books away.
|My mother never took me shopping for new clothes;
|My father took me shopping;
|She said I would bring home the whole store.
|I did bring home the whole store.
|My mother never bought me toys;
|My father bought me new toys;
|She said I would lose them.
|He told me to hide them from my mom.
