The Difference between Mothers and Fathers — Bracha Prero
| My mother never gave me candy; | |
| My father gave me candy; | |
| She said I would get cavities. | |
| He wasn’t worried about my teeth. | |
| My mother never cleaned my room; | |
| My father and I cleaned my room together; | |
| She said I had to do it all by myself. | |
| We put all the toys and books away. | |
| My mother never took me shopping for new clothes; | |
| My father took me shopping; | |
| She said I would bring home the whole store. | |
| I did bring home the whole store. | |
| My mother never bought me toys; | |
| My father bought me new toys; | |
| She said I would lose them. | |
| He told me to hide them from my mom. |
